Cut, Sew, & Press

Women are always welcome to come and help sew the dresses and shirts. There are many steps to make these outfits and a variety of skills are needed – cutting out hearts and stars from scrap fabric, ironing, simple sewing tasks and more complicated sewing such as the applique work. The Red Zone, the location where we meet to sew every week is located in Mesa, Arizona, at 4448 E Main, Suite 14 (northeast corner of Greenfield and Main.)

Because Dresses for Orphans meant so much to my Mom, she named the organization as one of her beneficiaries in her will. Mom loved serving at DFO and talked about it constantly. It blessed her and gave her such a purpose. She felt part of the family and considered all the ladies her friends. Thank you for the positive impact you made on my Mom’s life.
